For holding the cold water in Japanese Tea Ceremony, but they can be used for anything.

Note: This vessel changes hue between studio light (lid on) and daylight (lid off). It may be related to the crystalline structure of the glaze. In the daylight picture there is a vertical wavy line dead center; it is not visible in the studio shot.

All my covered vessels can be used as urns.  Some are intentionally made that way. Sometimes my urns have unglazed interiors in the traditional Japanese style. I am honored to make urns.  None of us are getting out of here alive…might as well go in style.
