• Cherry-Wood Throwing Stick These Cherry Throwing Sticks are made to get into tight necks and small spaces. I designed them to make small bottles easier. I pull the height and neck width of the bottle first...then expand the shape using this extra-long finger.
• Maple-Wood Knives Wood knives for cutting work off the wheel and for carving soft-leather-hard and leather-hard clay. Both for sculptural work and trimming hand-cut-feet on tea bowls, Unomi, and any other pot you want to have a beautiful hand cut foot.
• Steel Trimming Tool These classic steel trimming tools are made from 29 mil mild steel strapping. I cut, sharpen and bend these to make trimming leather-hard clay a breeze. The angles on each end are reversed to give you more choices in trimming angles and bevels.
• Chattermarking Tool This fun and rather single-minded tool is for adding chatter marks at high-speed on the wheel. Use on leather-hard clay. Hold the tool by the very end and apply the tip to the piece, the tool starts to bounce and the sharp end cuts into the clay.
